BARNEY FRAZIER SR.

Barney Allen Frazier Sr. passed away on Dec. 30, 2022, following a brief illness.

He was born on June 30, 1950, in Lexington to Ira Allen and Nancy Christine Frazier.

He is survived by his two sons, Barney Frazier Jr. and Christian Frazier of Kansas City, Missouri, along with grandchildren Joel and Darian, and great-grandchild Hendrixx. He is also survived by sister Nancy Grohnke (Jeff) and brothers Gary Frazier (Michele), Ricky Frazier and Keith Frazier (Patty), and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barney lived in Kansas City, Missouri, for 23 years and was employed by Safeway Foods. He moved back to his hometown of Lexington in 1989, where he worked for Rockbridge Farmers Co-op and Lee Hi Truck Stop until retirement. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his friend Debra and four dogs.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
