Under guidance from the Virginia Department of Forestry, the fireworks scheduled for Thursday night at Glen Maury Park have been postponed until Sunday due to the dry conditions.
The dancing and music by the Party Crashers Band at Glen Maury Park will proceed as scheduled from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday. The fireworks will be held, weather permitting, Sunday at 9:30 p.m.
