The Rev. Marina Gopadze, retired pastor from Buchanan Presbyterian, will be guest speaker this Sunday at High Bridge Presbyterian Church as the Rev. Steve Willis and wife Amy attend her family reunion in Tampa, Fla.
High Bridge will observe Holy Communion on Sunday, July 14.
Summer worship hours continue as we begin service at 10 on Sunday mornings. Deacons and volunteers will serve lemonade on the lawn after church throughout the summer.
Everyone enjoyed the Fourth of July picnic. Unfortunately, Col. John Brodie was unable to attend and was sorely missed. Donna Armentrout played all the military theme songs to recognize those who had served or were active in the military.

High Bridge announces two June weddings. Josh Powell and Rachel Arrietta were married by the Rev. Willis on Friday, June 21, at Ecco Edesso in Fairfield. Josh Powell is the son of Johnny and Peggy Young Powell and will reside on Plank Road. Also married were Joseph Forest Hawes and Emma Patrick at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Lexington on Saturday, June 22. Joseph is the son of Joe and Diana Hawes.
Visiting Scott and Becky Hannah this week were their son Jason and family of Grand Rapids, Mich. They also attended church this past Sunday.

The Natural Bridge/Glasgow food pantry will open on Saturday, July 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. The High Bridge congregation is collecting canned meats and vegetable oil for the food pantry during the month of July.
