Kerrs Creek

Rachel Clark, (630)

Thank you to Dianne Swink for the prelude and music throughout the service on Sunday at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. Thank you to Calvin and Casey Clark for playing piano and guitar on the worship song “Instrument of Peace.”

We had the opportunity to hear from recent W&L graduate Amelia Fisher about the work that she will continue to do with Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Amelia served as a student leader this past year, and Pastor Rachel had the opportunity to meet weekly with Amelia for prayer, discipleship and encouragement. Amelia will be serving as an Intervarsity Christian Fellowship intern next year, doing ministry at Mary Washington University in Fredericksburg. Anyone who would like to find out more, commit to pray for Amelia, or make a donation to support her financially can contact her directly via email or phone [email protected], (484) 507-9224, or for financial giving can visit this website: givetoiv.org/ameliafisher.

Next Sunday will be “Favorite Hymn Sunday” with several individuals sharing their favorite hymns with the congregation.

There will be no adult Sunday school next week. Church service will be at 10 a.m.

There will be a church retreat at Massanetta Springs September 6-8. Put it on your calendar and sign up on the sheet in the sanctuary or see Rachel Clark. There are a variety of lodging options.
