Thank you to Laura Hotinger and the choir for leading Sunday’s music at New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. We were blessed to celebrate communion and the love of Christ for us during worship.
Laura shared the joy that she was able to visit with Sam’s son, Brandon, and hold baby Ellie Grace.
Thank you to Janeen Welsh who took youth on a fun trip on Saturday. All had a wonderful time at their tubing outing at Wintergreen.
On Saturday at 11 a.m. there will be a Memorial Service for Harvey Lewis Hotinger at New Monmouth. A meal will follow the service. Let Alex Slaydon or Rachel Clark know if you would like to provide a dish or dessert.
Don’t forget that there will be a pancake dinner at the church Tuesday, Feb. 21, from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
Ash Wednesday service will be the following day, Feb. 22, at 6 p.m.
During Lent we will be reading a book called “Lent” by Esau McCauley. If you would like a copy to keep, a donation of $10 is requested.
