Both the Rockbridge County and Parry McCluer high school football teams started practicing last Thursday, with the Wildcats beginning in the morning and the Fighting Blues getting going that afternoon in the sweltering heat. The Wildcats are under the direction of third-year head coach Martin Cox (top left photo, blue shirt), while second-year head coach Jeremiah Brockenbrough (above, blue shirt) guides the Blues.
