The 24th annual State of the Community Breakfast, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce Serving Lexington, Buena Vista, and Rockbridge County, will be held on Monday, Jan. 9, from 7 to 9:30 a.m. at the Virginia Horse Center.
Elected officials from our three area jurisdictions, Lexington Mayor Frank Friedman, Buena Vista Mayor Billy Fitzgerald, Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors Vice Chair Leslie Ayers, as well as Senator Creigh Deeds, will be in attendance. Each official will provide brief overviews of what transpired in 2022 as well as what they see ahead for our area in 2023. Candidates Ellen Campbell and Jade Harris, nominees for the House of Delegates 24th District run-off election, will also be in attendance.
Tickets are $20 per person for Chamber members and $30 per person for non-Chamber members. Early registration can be completed online at lexrockchamber.com or via phone by calling (540) 463-5375.
