AN APPLICATION BY NANCY L. TRUMPS PROPOSING THE APPLICATION OF A PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT (BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT) FOR A PARCEL LOCATED AT 29 CHAMBERLAIN LOOP (TM # 39-1-1-18) IN LEXINGTON, VIRGINIA, AND AN ADJACENT PARCEL LOCATED IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, VIRGINIA A public hearing will be conducted by Lexington City Council at a meeting to begin at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 to allow persons to present their views in response to an application by Nancy L. TOWN OF GLASGOW PUBLIC HEARING

The Planning Commission and Town Council of Glasgow, Virginia will hold joint public hearings at the Glasgow Public Library, 1108 Blue Ridge Rd, Glasgow, Virginia at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2024, to consider the following: 1) Amendment to Chapter 18 Zoning, Article IV Commercial District (C-1), Section 18-31, to allow a “Recreational Substances Store” as a Conditional Use in the Commercial District (C-1) Zoning District. Amendment to Chapter 18 Zoning, Article I General, Section 18-1 Definitions, to add a definition of “Recreational Substance Store”. 2) Request for a Conditional Use Permit by Ted Slayton, owner and Mohammed Abu-Sukhen DBA Glasgow Tobacco and Vape, in accordance with Chapter 18-Zoning, Article IV Commercial District (C-1), Section 18-31 Uses Permitted by Conditional Use, (Recreational Substance Store) to conduct retail sales of recreational substances, on Tax Map Number 108A6-1-153-19 & 108A6-1-153-21 (920 Rockbridge Rd). The subject property is zoned C-1 Commercial.

This area is designated Commercial in the Comprehensive Plan. Any person desiring to be heard in favor of or in opposition to the proposed amendments is hereby invited to be present at the public hearing. AN APPLICATION BY SAM & JACKIE CALHOUN PROPOSING THE APPLICATION OF A PRELIMINARY SUBDIVISION PLAT (BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT) FOR A PARCEL LOCATED AT 31 CHAMBERLAIN LOOP (TM # 39-1-1-17) IN LEXINGTON, VIRGINIA, AND AN ADJACENT PARCEL LOCATED IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, VIRGINIA A public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington City Council at a meeting to begin at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, to allow persons to present their views in response to an application by Sam and Jackie Calhoun requesting the application of a preliminary subdivision plat (boundary line adjustment) to add a 0.206 acre portion of an unimproved tract located in Rockbridge County to Lexington Tax Parcel #39-1-1-17.
