The Rockbridge Pieceworks Quilt Guild has spent the last two years making a quilt to raffle to benefit Project Horizon. Members made the blocks and then assembled the quilt. Fabric and batting was donated by The Quiltery and Keith and Zosia Kohler. Quilting was done by Granny Kay’s Quilts. The drawing will be held Nov. 9. Area residents are invited to the “Quilts in the Country” exhibit at the Virginia Horse Center during the Rockbridge Regional Fair, Sept. 12-14, to see the quilt and purchase raffle tickets.
