Washington and Lee University’s Staniar Gallery is presenting “Foveal Relay,” a solo exhibition of experimental photography works by artist Bridget Conn.
The exhibition will be on view in Lykes Atrium in Wilson Hall through Oct. 18. Conn will also give a public artist’s talk on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 5:30 p.m. in Wilson Hall, room 2018.
The exhibition and artist talk are free and open to the public.
Conn is a photographic artist who explores the potential of photography as a chemical and physical medium through the creation of chemigrams. The works featured in “Foveal Relay” deal with mindfulness, sensory engagement, exploring natural environments, refocusing vision and reconfiguring priorities.
Staniar Gallery is located on the second floor of Wilson Hall in the Lenfest Center.
