Condolences From Trumps Touch Reader

Aug. 29, 2024 Editor, The News-Gazette: I want to tell a personal story about President Donald Trump and Melania Trump, with all the evil things I have heard from the news, Congressmen and women on both sides and people from this town about Donald Trump.

You know Jesus tells us not to boast about our good works, so I am not for myself, but I will tell you what President Trump and Melania did for my wife, Regina Clark.

Regina was born in Queens, N.Y. She voted for him in 2016 not because he was from New York, but she thought his policies were good for America. Regina loved him saying, “Make America Great Again.”

Sadly Regina didn’t get to vote for him in 2020. Regina was diagnosed with cancer and went home to be with the Lord May 31, 2018.

When President Trump and Melania learned of this, they prayed for my family and sent me a beautiful Christian condolence letter. I have hung it on the wall with a picture of Regina. We aren’t the only ones he and Melania have shown their loving kindness to.

God bless Melania and Donald Trump. FRED CLARK Lexington
