A display at the Glasgow Library publicizes the upcoming Halloween cakewalk and raffle sponsored by the Natural Bridge Ruritan Club. The display was created by club secretary Garnette Teass and also includes information about past activities of the club. The cakewalk at the Natural Bridge firehouse will be held Oct. 26 at 6 p.m. Club members distributed wooden coins to children during the Rockbridge Community Festival, each imprinted to say, “Good for one free cupcake” at the cakewalk. The wooden coins will be distributed at upcoming Buchanan and Buena Vista festivals as well.
