Rachel Clark, (630)
A new Sunday school year kicked off at New Monmouth on Sunday. Thank you to all our Sunday school teachers and substitute teachers to giving their time and love to their classes. Thank you Hope Bird, Janeen Welsh, Karen Duff, and Tim Welsh. The adult Sunday school will be discussing the life of love that Jesus calls us to, and how we can follow him faithfully in the midst of political division and disagreement.
We continue to meditate on the parables of Jesus during our Sunday sermons. The flowers on Sunday were placed in honor of Tammy King who has a birthday this week and who will soon be retiring after many years of service with Carilion.
