Rockbridge County High School will induct its third Athletic Hall of Fame class this Saturday, Sept. 21.
The class, which will be inducted at a banquet at the RC gym at 6 p.m., consists of five inductees. The inductees, selected by a committee after receiving nominations, are football player and wrestler Patrick Bannon (Class of 2007), volleyball player Kaitlin McFaddin (2006), the late football player Stephen “Chase” Prasnicki (2006), girls basketball and lacrosse player Lauren Prasnicki (2010) and boys tennis player Wray Sherman (2001).
The inductees will be honored at halftime of the Wildcats’ home football game against Blacksburg on Friday at Prasnicki-Ross Field at Veterans Stadium in Lexington. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at the high school this week or at the door.
Tickets for the banquet on Saturday are $35 for adults, with children age 8 and under getting in free. Doors will open at 5 p.m.
