A large crowd turned out for the recent Historic Lexington Foundation program on the 611 steam engine excursions that were based out of Goshen last fall. Will Harris talked about the history of the 611 and the local project, while Mary and Darryl Woodson, who “chased the 611,” told their story of photographing the excursions through photos, videos and commentary. The event was held in the sanctuary of Manly Memorial Baptist Church.
