Sept. 18, 2024 Editor, The News-Gazette: There are some unanswered questions about the Adamson proposed office and “public assembly space” of the buildings backing onto the Jefferson Street parking lot (McCrum’s lot).
Where will those office workers and event attendees park? How many office workers and event attendees will there be?
It’s difficult to find a parking space now. These uses will make it worse. O ffice workers leave their car parked all day long. As hassles to park increase, fewer folks come downtown to eat and shop. Is the city prepared to create additional parking somewhere downtown?
