The Lexington Woman’s Club has announced its writing contest for the new school year, 20242025.
The contest is open to all students in grades K-12. First, second, third place and honorable mention can be awarded in each category for poetry and short story.
Three copies of each submission must be entered or the submission cannot be judged. The deadline for entries is Dec. 13. A box will be placed at the Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington in November along with a copy of the rules. Teachers at schools in Lexington and Rockbridge County have been sent the rules also.
