RCHS News

The Student Council Association (SCA) is sponsoring an American Red Cross blood drive on Oct. 9 in the RCHS gymnasium. Students and staff, 16 years or older, are able to donate. Students under 18 are required to have a parent or guardian’s signature of approval. Permission slips and sign ups can be located in Room 118 at the high school. The junior class is selling Heirlooms Cinnamon Rolls to raise money for prom 2025. The 12-ounce cinnamon rolls are $8 each and you can pay a fee for extra icing. To place an order, contact Jessika Crance at jessika_crance@rockbridge. k12.va.us or contact the high school at (540) 463-5555. Orders are due Friday, Oct. 4, and delivery will be Oct. 14.

The Cinderella and Prince Charming Program is providing free homecoming dresses and suits for students. QR codes are posted around the school to book appointments to try on the attire.

The Rockbridge County High School horticulture class is selling homecoming flowers to benefit the program. Small bouquets (two to three roses along with other flowers) cost $20; large bouquets (four to six roses along with other flowers) are $25; boutonnieres cost $15; and wristlet corsages, $20. Money and orders are due by Oct. 4 and can be dropped off in Room 208 at the high school. Checks should be made payable to RCHS.
