Notice is hereby given per Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia and Section 808 of the County of Rockbridge Land Development Regulations (the Regulations) that a public hearing will be held by the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors on Monday, October 28, 2024, at or after 6:00 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room in the County Administration Building, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia 24450 to consider the following application: 1) Warm Run Solar, LLC, 107 5th Street, Charlottesville Virginia, 22902 has made an application for a Special Exception Permit to develop a 3.00-MW (AC) solar project (public utility). The property is owned by Robert F. Hufman, Trustee, 1318 Mount Atlas Road, Lexington Virginia, 24450 and is identified as tax map number 6212-B1 (56.00 ac. per tax records). The property is located on the east side of Lincoln Road (Rt. 763) approximately 0.52 miles south of the intersection of Lincoln Road and N. Lee Highway (Rt.11). Access to the proposed solar project is from Warm Run Road (Rt. 788). The property is in the Agricultural Transitional (A-T) Zoning District. Per section 603B.03-14 of the Regulations, Public Utilities are a use by special exception in the A-T District.

CITY OF LEXINGTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING APPLICATIONS BY THE CITY OF LEXINGTON REQUESTING THAT: A) THE ZONING MAP BE AMENDED TO REZONE THE CITY OWNED PARCELS ASSOCIATED WITH EVERGREEN AND OAK GROVE CEMETERIES, AND B) CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS BE ISSUED TO ALLOW CEMETERY USE ON ALL LAND ASSOCIATED WITH EVERGREEN AND OAK GROVE CEMETERIES.

A public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington Planning Commission at a meeting to begin at 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in the first floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street,to allow persons to present their views in response to applications by the City of Lexington requesting the following: A) That the Zoning Map be amended to rezone: 1) that 1.855 acre portion of Evergreen Cemetery (TM #25-1-9)purchased by the City in January 2023 and currently zoned R-1; and 2) that 0.445 acre portion of Oak Grove Cemetery (TM #23-1-160)immediately adjacent to the rear property lines of 14 Houston Street and 16 Houston Street and currently zoned R-1. The request is to rezone both properties to the P-OS (Parks and Open Space District) zoning district; and B) That Conditional Use Permits be issued to allow Cemetery use on all land associated with Evergreen Cemetery (TM #25-1-9) and Oak Grove Cemetery (TM #23-1160).

CITY OF LEXINGTON NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO REVIEW AN APPLICATION FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A PORTION OF THE BUILDING AT 2 S. MAIN STREET TO CONTINUE TO BE USED AS A PUBLIC ASSEMBLY AND EDUCATIONAL FACILITY, COLLEGE/ UNIVERSITY AND TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE EDUCATIONAL FACILITY, COLLEGE/ UNIVERSITY USE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE BUILDING

A public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington City Council at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 17, 2024 in the first floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, to allow persons to appear and present their views in response to a Conditional Use Permit application submitted by John Adamson of Rockbridge Partners, LLC. The application is a request to renew the Conditional Use Permit to allow a portion of the building, located at 2 South Main Street (Tax Map #23-1-194) and owned by Rockbridge Partners, LLC, to be used as an assembly hall (i.e. Public Assembly) and private school (i.e. Educational Facility, College/University). The applicant further requests that the Educational Facility, College/ University use for the existing administrative facilities located in the building be acknowledged and codified.

A copy of the application, case number CUP 2024-02 is available for public review and examination between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. in the Planning and Development Department located on the second floor of Lexington City Hall, 300 East Washington Street.

A public hearing will be conducted by the Lexington City Council at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 17, 2024 in the first floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, to allow persons to appear and present their views in response to a Conditional Use Permit application submitted by John Adamson of Rockbridge Building, LLC. The application is a request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow portions of the buildings, located at 9 - 17 South Main Street (Tax Map #23-1-72A) and owned by Rockbridge Building, LLC, to be used as an Educational Facility, College/University and as a Public Assembly.

A copy of the application, case number CUP 2024-05 is available for public review and examination between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. in the Planning and Development Department located on the second floor of Lexington City Hall, 300 East Washington Street.
