The Parry McCluer High School football team suffered a 35-13 homecoming loss to Narrows in the Pioneer District opener on Friday night at Bobby Williams Field in Buena Vista.
With the loss, the Fighting Blues (4-2 overall, 0-1 district) saw their three-game winning streak snapped.
PM led 13-7 after the first quarter, but the Green Wave (3-2, 1-0) took a 14-13 halftime lead and outscored the Blues 21-0 in the second half.
The Blues will continue district action when they play at Craig County next Friday at 7 p.m. in New Castle.
