Oct. 13, 2024 Editor, The News-Gazette: As we go to the polls to fulfill our sacred duty of voting, I ask you to consider these things: The financial stimulus checks you received to sustain your families in the darkest days of the pandemic came from Biden/ Harris - not Trump.
The rapid deployment of the Covid vaccine and free clinics set up all over the country (saving millions of lives) came from Biden/Harris - not Trump.
The prescription drug bill (which Cline voted against) lowering the cost of drugs-especially insulin came from Biden/ Harris - not Trump.
The wonderful infrastructure bill to rebuild our failing bridges and roads (creating thousands of new jobs) came from Biden/ Harris - not Trump.
We Dems have always put working families first. You are our most valued “customers.” Above all, we want the quality of your lives to be better and become the best it can be. First and foremost we work for you. Please vote for the people who will continue to put you first: Ken Mitchell for Congress - “we leave no one behind,” Tim Kaine for the Senate, and Harris/Walz for president/vice president.
