Biden-Harris Open Border Policies Are A Clear And Present Danger

For Your Consideration

I didn’t think things could get worse when I wrote my last column about the Biden-Harris administration’s open borders policy that has resulted in over 10 million illegal immigrants admitted to the country along with a conservative estimate of two million “gotaways” (illegal immigrants that did not just walk in and get handed a form telling them to report at a federal courthouse in New York or other major city in three or more years from now!). These illegals did not want authorities to know they were here for many reasons — none of them good!

The week after my last column ran, Rep. August Phluger (R-TX) stated in a committee hearing that 382 individuals whose names appear on the terrorist watchlist were stopped trying to illegally cross the U.S.-Mexico border from FY2021 to FY2024 year to date. This is compared to 11 individuals apprehended during the Trump years of FY2017 to FY2020.

Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) stated that of the 382, at least 99 illegal aliens on the watchlist were released into the United States. So we have about 100 potential 9-11 terrorists somewhere in the country! Can it get worse than this?

On Sept 27, Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) released a letter on X (formerly Twitter) from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reporting that it is currently detaining 277 migrants who have been convicted of homicide and 51 who face such charges! In a follow-up report, ICE reported it had released into the U.S on a non-detained docket over 13,000 aliens with convictions for murder and another 15,000 with convictions for sexual assault!

If that weren’t bad enough, ICE added it released 56,000 illegal aliens on the non-detained docket who had convictions for dangerous drugs, 62,000 who had convictions for assault; 18,000 who had convictions for larceny (theft); 14,000 who had convictions for burglary; 13,000 who had convictions for weapons offenses, and 2,500 who had convictions for kidnapping!

The good news is some are still being held in local, state or other federal prisons. The bad news is far more are walking the streets rather than being bars. These reports got very little coverage by the major networks and the stories buried on back pages of major newspapers. Why?

VP Kamala Harris was put in charge of the problems on the border and her response was to make a one-time stop to a Border Patrol office several miles from the actual border and a trip to Honduras to see what could be done to reduce migrants from that country. (The number migrating from that country dramatically increased in the next week after her visit!)

Harris, when asked about not having visited the border, replied, “I haven’t been to Europe either.” (A person a heartbeat away from the president had not been to Europe — home of NATO nations and home of our major allies and trade partners; that should have been heavily reported when she was running for vice president!)

Harris, in the last week of August, finally made a real visit to the border spending 20 minutes talking only to two Border Patrol officials and the press forbidden to hear the discussion and only film them next to a Trump built wall she now supports (maybe?).

On Aug, 29, the Associated Press reported the Biden-Harris administration is restarting an immigration program that allows migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela to fly into the United States. This scandal ridden program allows the entry of up to 30,000 migrants a month or 360,000 a year.

Under this program, migrants have to have a U.S. sponsor. Over 375,000 unvetted migrants from the four countries entered the country before this horrible corrupt program was stopped when, according to the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR,) it was found that at least 3,218 people sponsored more than 100,000 migrants and many of these sponsors claimed non-existent addresses and/or used false Social Security numbers (24 of the Social Security numbers belonged to dead people!).

Why would the administration restart a program that is bringing in more unvetted migrants from Venezuela, a country had has become a major of exporter of criminals, violent gang members, and mentally insane?

Each of these four countries refuse to accept their deported citizens back and have used the program to get rid of their criminals, physically or mentally ill. So why do we accept them? Who are the “sponsors” of the previous fraud ridden program and why have they not been prosecuted? Seems they, along with a lot of the migrants, can’t be found!

Also why was it major headline news when about 1,000 unaccompanied minors disappeared during the Trump years but since Biden-Harris came into office there has been very little publicity about the many thousands of unaccompanied minors that have disappeared? Some are lost in bureaucrat confusion but many unaccompanied minors’ location or fate are totally unknown.

People are asking what Harris would do to solve the border crisis if elected — maybe a better question is why she and Biden have let it continue? For your consideration.
