Kristina Ramsey, Buena Vista’s director of community development, wants to give a shout out to those who helped with the preparation of meals and snacks for the timber framers during the construction of the stage cover: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (three different wards covered all three meals for Friday), Heliotrope, Good Karma Food on the Move, Food Lion Buena Vista, Kenney’s, Kroger, Stanley Tomlin with the Buena Vista Police Department, Laurie Macrae (dietary meals) Frances Richardson and Joanne Peretti (dietary meals), CornerStone Bank (snacks), Buena Vista Rotary Club Rotary Club (snacks), Mary Huffman and Furever Friends Lodge (snacks) and Jody Fix (snacks).
Also, Ramsey said she is most appreciative of Spencer’s Home Center for being very generous in discounting the roofing materials for the project.
