Oct. 23, 2024 Editor, The News-Gazette: Kamala Harris keeps being asked how her administration will differ from Joe Biden’s. This is how: By being the example of youth, diversity, courage and joy that she is.
She is the champion of the younger generations. She will inspire them to fight for their rights to get educated, have good jobs, care for the environment, raise families when, how and with whom they choose, have affordable options for child care and excellent public early education so that they can excel at their careers, become contributing, active citizens, own homes, build wealth, and pursue their dreams.
She will embolden the younger generations to stand up against fear whenever it attempts to whittle them down to less than they can be. To be aware of and elect forward-thinking representatives, to run for office themselves, to vote out the old, power-hungry, backward, narcissistic politicians hanging for dear life onto their jobs.
