Stormwater Fee Listening Sessions Set

The city of Lexington will be hosting four open-house style listening sessions throughout November where citizens can ask questions and learn more information about the stormwater utility fee that the city is proposing to implement beginning in July of 2025.

Residents will be able to talk directly to members of the city’s staff and the consulting engineers to ask questions about the proposed fee and the impact it will have on their property.

The first session will be held in the Lexington Police Department meeting room from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, with a second being held the following Friday, Nov. 8, in the second floor meeting room at City Hall from 1 to 4 p.m.

The final two sessions will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, and Tuesday, Nov. 19. The session on the 18th will be at City Hall and the final session on the 19th will be at the police station.
