Samuel Wilberforce Heilpern died Feb. 19

Samuel Wilberforce Heilpern, beloved son, brother, grandchild and nephew, was born sleeping as he returned to the loving arms of his Father in Heaven on Feb. 19, 2023.

Though his time here on this earth was short, he has enriched the lives of all those who love him dearly. Samuel was blessed to spend the entirety of his time on earth encompassed in the warmth of his mother. His parents eagerly anticipate the day in which they will cradle him in their arms once more.

He is survived by his loving parents, James and Kindra Heilpern; his three older siblings, Jack, Lila and Benjamin; his maternal grandparents, Nancy and Casey Clemence; his paternal grandparents, Merrie and Jack Heilpern; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He has been joyously reunited in Heaven with his maternal great-grandmother Beverly Jean Chiodo Clemence and his maternal great-grandfather William George Shields.

A service in Samuel’s honor will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse at 1340 Thornhill Road in Lexington.
