Buena Vista Presbyterian Church will hold its annual bazaar this Saturday, Nov. 9, from 8 a.m. to noon. All proceeds from the bazaar will go to local, statewide and global mission projects to meet the many needs of our neighbors.
Festivities will include a bake sale of homemade breads, cakes, cookies, jams, jellies and seasonal treats; arts and crafts; gift baskets; toys, puzzles and games; and a white elephant sale that offers home décor of linens, crochet items, Christmas decorations, knick-knacks and prints.
As offered every year at the bazaar, a handmade quilt will be raffled off at the conclusion of the event. Tickets are $2 each and residents do not have to be present to win. This year’s quilt pattern, the little Dutch girls handstitched, will fit on a full or queen size bed, wall hanging or couch cover.
