The Parry McCluer High School football team concluded the regular season with a 48-0 home win over Pioneer District rival Eastern Montgomery on Friday night at Bobby Williams Field in Buena Vista.
The Fighting Blues (6-4 overall, 2-2 district) led 21-0 at halftime and continued to pour on the offense in the second half against the Mustangs (1-9, 0-4).
With the victory, the Blues snapped a two-game losing streak, having fallen to undefeated teams in road games the previous two Fridays.
Before the game, the Blues honored their five seniors: Jase Barger, Jackson Brockenbrough, Braden Conley, Sean O’Connor and Peyton Montgomery.
The Blues will enter the Region 1C tournament as the fifth seed and will play at fourth-seeded Narrows (5-4, 3-1) on Friday at 7 p.m.. For
