Ellen Campbell will conduct a workshop on making hats for flood victims in North Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Palmer Community Center. The workshop will begin at 10 a.m.

Portable sewing machines are needed as well as folks to cut, sew, provide fleece and refreshments. The fleece can be purchased at Walmart for $10.99 for a 1.5 bundle. According to Ellen, these are really warm hats as she has made them for farmers, hunters and those who work outside.
