The Festival of First Fruits and Stewardship Sunday will be celebrated on Sunday, Nov. 24, at Oxford Presbyterian Church. This is a time to reflect on the past year’s blessings and look forward to next year. A selection of specific fruits will be brought to the altar and members will present a certain memento of what they are thankful for and also their pledge card for 2025 and offering for the day. After the worship service, a covereddish lunch will be held in the fellowship hall with turkey donated by the Women of the Church.

The community cakewalk held at the Palmer Community Center was a huge success on Nov. 9. A check for $2,300 was sent to God’s Pit Crew in Danville to be used for the flood victims in North Carolina. Thanks to everyone who helped with this worthwhile
