The STARTALK Arabic Program’s applications have opened, and the tentative dates for this year’s program are June 26-July 23, and will run Monday through Friday each week from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The STARTALK program funds tuition costs for six hours of college credit for this summer program. Scheduled for today, Feb. 22, RCHS will be holding a job fair. The goal of the job fair is to provide students an opportunity to explore different careers in the business, career and technical, and workshop careers. A variety of local employers will be in attendance at the job fair, including, Natural Bridge State Park, Mohawk, Goad’s Body Shop, and the Southern Inn Restaurant.
The Marketing Dual Enrollment class has begun selling country meat sticks to benefit the upcoming School Store. Each meat stick is being sold for $2 for one stick and $3 for two sticks before and after school, and in between lunch periods. The goal of the School Store is to raise money to benefit the co-op side of the marketing class. Plans to extend the School Store to include clothing and spirit items are underway.
The Cinderella Project and the Prince Charming Program have opened its doors for the prom season. The goal of the clothing closet is to provide girls with prom dresses and boys with formal wear free of charge.
