Innovation Center Nearly Complete

Innovation Center Nearly Complete

The Rockbridge County School Board and the Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors held a joint meeting on Thursday, Nov. 14, to tour the nearly completed Rockbridge Innovation Center, which will house Career and Technical Education classes at Rockbridge County High School. Paige Owens, director of CTE and Technology for Rockbridge County Public Schools, led the group through all the sections and classrooms of the renovated building, including (clockwise from top) the culinary arts facility, auto repair, the house building pavilion, nursing and medical training, and the drafting and architecture classroom. The project has been successful at staying on schedule and on budget, and will be open and holding classes at the beginning of the new semester in January. (Scotty Dransfield photos)
