The Rockbridge Area Recreation Organization’s Rockbridge Wildcats senior football team, consisting of 11-and-12-year- olds, won the league championship over Buena Vista 22-8 on Oct. 29. The Wildcats finished the season with a 7-1 record in the league, which includes teams from Buena Vista, Rockbridge County, Covington, Alleghany County, Bath County, and Craig County.
