The area’s first live nativity of the season took place Sunday evening at Stone Church of the Brethren. Sponsored by the church’s Kids Club, the program featured a reading of the Christmas story, caroling – and two real sheep. The next live nativity will take place at High Bridge Presbyterian Church this Saturday, Dec. 7, from 6 to 7 p.m. (Stephanie Mikels Blevins photos)
