The secretary of defense nominee seems to have had sexual assault hushed up, like Trump’s Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Maybe “takes one to know one” is Trump’s criterion. Trump has been accused by more than 20 women. Too bad Trump’s pal, sex-trafficker Jeffery Epstein, is not around to be appointed. Trump made amends by lamenting the punishment of repeat sex-offender Harvey Weinstein.
TV shills like Dr. Oz, who recommended health products about which he knew zero, are joined by others whose chief expertise is flattering Trump.
Reports have it Trumpsters at Mar a Lago are scrambling for jobs for relatives — like in Communist regimes, where insiders scarf up public money.
The Republican Study Committee’s 2025 budget requires cuts in Social Security for millions, who will have to work longer. Those “savings” are desperately needed for Trump’s promise to extend deficit-generating tax cuts: 83% for millionaires and billionaires, the 2%, including himself. Working class voters won’t have to mail checks directly to Trump.
Ms. Angelou said believe people when they tell you who they are. He plans to prosecute those who criticized him, including the press.
