5:30 to 7 p.m. - Second annual Ronnie Campbell Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser, at Art on Magnolia, 2067 Magnolia Ave., Buena Vista; $25 tickets can be obtained by mailing a check made out to Rockbridge Breakfast Club at 1223 North Lee Hwy, #202, Lexington.
6:30 p.m. – Bingo, Buena Vista Volunteer Fire Department, doors open at 5:15, with early bird games starting at 6:30; food will be sold.
Friday, Dec. 13 Noon to 5 p.m. – VMI Museum open house, with refreshments, door prizes and discounts on many items in the store.
5 to 9 p.m. – Luminary Nights, Natural Bridge State Park, regular admission applies.
6 to 8 p.m. – “Jingle Bell Bash in the Baths,” sponsored by the Rockbridge Baths Community Organization and the Rockbridge Baths Volunteer Fire Department, Rockbridge Baths firehouse; for more information or to volunteer, call Kati Brantley at (719) 355-6036.

9 to 11 a.m. – Breakfast with Santa, menu includes pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee, Natural Bridge firehouse, proceeds to benefit the fire department auxiliary.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – North Rockbridge Trail, holiday open houses at businesses in northern Rockbridge County.
11 a.m. – Christmas Market, presented by Buena Vista Farmers Market, in Asunders and Straws.
1 p.m. – Wreath laying ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery, Lexington, followed by the laying of wreaths upon the gravesites of the 120 veterans interred in the cemetery; public invited to participate in the placement of wreaths; for more information, call (540) 460-5784.
1 to 4 p.m. – Rockbridge SPCA open house, bring a toy, a treat, a blanket or various food items for cats and dogs to place under the SPCA Christmas tree; for a list of items needed, visit the SPCA website at www.rockbridgespca. net.

5 to 7 p.m. – “Christmas at the Jacksons,” Jackson House, 8 East Washington St., admission is a nonperishable food for humans or pets to benefit RARA.
5 to 9 p.m. – Luminary Nights, Natural Bridge State Park, regular admission applies.
