Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Section 217-3.B(3) of the Code of the City of Lexington, that violations exist at 515 Arpia in the City of Lexington (TM# 35-3-3 & 35-32A). The property is considered a nuisance per Section 217-3, and the owner is given until January 15, 2025 to abate the nuisance items stored on the property. If the nuisance items are not timely removed, the City of Lexington will remove said nuisance items and charge the owner for the costs of removal in accordance with Section 2173.C.

City of Lexington NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ORDINANCE 2024-15 OF THE CITY OF LEXINGTON TO SET THE STORMWATER UTILITY RATE
The City Council of Lexington will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19,2024 during its regular meeting, held in the first-floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia,concerning Ordinance 2024-15 sets forth the stormwater utility rates effective between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026 and effective starting on July 1, 2026. The rates shall be $0.30 per 250 square feet of impervious surface between July 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026. The stormwater rates shall be $0.60 per 250 square feet of impervious surface starting on July 1, 2026 until such time as this ordinance is amended.

Each Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to review the Code of Virginia, Title 54.1, Chapter 11, prior to bidding. The Owner does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, § 2.2-4343.1.

The City Council of Lexington will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19,2024 during its regular meeting, held in the first-floor meeting room of the Rockbridge County Administrative Offices, 150 South Main Street, Lexington, Virginia, concerning Ordinance 2024-14. The proposed ordinance will create City of Lexington City Code Chapter 350 “Stormwater Utility” in order to establish a stormwater utility fee.
