Cline Receives Friend Of Farm Bureau Award

Rep. Ben Cline has been named a recipient of the Friend of the Farm Bureau Award for the 118th Congress. This award is given to members who support legislation that benefits agriculture, farmers and producers.

Cline received the award during a visit to Virginia Tech’s Alson H. Smith Agriculture Research Center in Winchester.

“I am truly honored to receive the Friend of the Farm Bureau award,” Cline said. “Our farmers are not just vital to our economy; they are the backbone of our community and the cornerstone of Virginia’s Sixth District. Whether it’s hosting farm tours, getting rid of bureaucratic red tape, investing in broadband for rural areas, or securing favorable trade deals for our agricultural products, I will always advocate for the best agricultural interests of Virginia’s Sixth District.”

Cline also recognized the Virginia Farm Bureau for its work: “Thank you to the Virginia Farm Bureau for this award and their relentless advocacy on behalf of agriculture and our rural communities. Their efforts ensure we are moving our country forward, and I’m honored to work alongside them on that mission. I will continue to fight tirelessly for policies that bolster the economy in rural America and honor the hard work of our farmers.”
