On Dec. 21 at 7 p.m. the cantata “Silent Night Holy Night” will be performed at the Buena Vista Seventhday Adventist Church, located at 2335 Magnolia Ave.
A former pastor of the church, Rick Labate, will be directing the cantata and said this cantata brings the reason Christmas is celebrated through sound and sight as video emphasizes the story as it is being told through song.
The current pastor of the church, Luis Beltre, said, “During this special season, we invite the community to join us as we take time from busy schedules to worship together through music.”
A reception will follow the performance.
