The Collierstown Presbyterian Church’s Pack the Porch food drive held on Feb. 11 received 700 pounds of food and paper products and monetary gifts totaling $100. The donations received were distributed to Rockbridge Area Relief Association (RARA) and Helping Hands, a food ministry of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church. Many thanks for all who assisted with the event and gave generously to help meet the food needs of area residents.
Greg Jewitt, Rockbridge area coordinator of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, supplied the pulpit at the Collierstown Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Feb. 19. Special music was provided by Beth Houser.
Upcoming activities at the Collierstown Presbyterian Church include the Night Circle’s meeting on Thursday, March 2, at 7 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
