Lexington Police Chief Angela Greene has announced the establishment of her third Police Chief Advisory Board.
This board is designed to support the Lexington Police Department in addressing contemporary challenges impacting both the community and the department. Its primary goal is to provide Greene with communitydriven input and recommendations on critical topics such as:
• Strengthening police-community relations; • Enhancing public awareness of services and programs;
• Shaping community policing policies
• Promoting racial equity;
• Evaluating use of force protocols;
• Improving responses to mental health crises; • Addressing criminal activity and trends; • Fostering transparency in police operations.
The board will consist of 11 members, representing a diverse cross-section of the Lexington community, including residents, business owners, school leaders, spiritual/ clergy leaders, non-profit leaders, and college students.
