It’s that time of year again, time to make resolutions for the new year.
As we have for many years now, we’ve asked students in several local schools to come up with their own resolutions. Some of them are no different than our own – to eat better and live healthier.
But, of course, we get to see the new year through the eyes of young students, and their priorities are also about getting good grades and getting better at sports. And then there’s a desire to make more friends and be nicer to people – something that should apply to rest of us as well.
We’d like to thank the principals, teachers and students at Enderly Heights and Waddell elementary schools for participating in this project, and we wish everyone a great and healthy 2025. - Darryl Woodson
