Dec. 17, 2024 Editor, The News-Gazette: We live in a beautiful state. It seems that some people do not want it to stay that way!
Trash is thrown down over banks or lost on the roads and not picked up. The Dumpsters that we still have are abused by a lot of people. Trash is thrown on the ground – furniture, brush, etc. The nice rock ledge in Goshen Pass degraded – written on and painted. The pavilion in Goshen Pass – defaced, timbers written on along with the beautiful concrete tables. Trash is left along the rocks at the river. It’s a really nice place for families to get together for a picnic. If any of your readers are doing any of this, shame on them! Our local law enforcement and VDOT are doing a great job and I tell them so! Please do your part and get involved.
I hope they catch these law breakers.
