Lexington
At the Dec. 11 meeting of the Lexington School Board, Superintendent Rebecca Walters gave special recognition to the two Board members departing at the end of this year.
Sandra Hayslette and Brendan Perry were commended for their dedication as members of the school community and their hard work on the Board.
New members Kasey Potter and Katie Masey, the first on the Lexington board, along with returning member Tammy Dunn, to be elected rather than appointed, will take the vacant seats when the Board reconvenes on Jan. 8, 2025.
