Dalton Leaving Main Street BV Position

CPH+H Role Up Next For BV Native

Brooke Dalton, executive director of Main Street Buena Vista the past two years, is stepping down to become the outreach and development director for ConnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice.

Dalton said this week that she would be making the transition from one organization to the other over the next several weeks. She will be working part-time in both roles before becoming full time at the beginning of February in her new position with the local hospice organization.

“Serving as the executive director of MSBV has been an incredible honor. I love my hometown and the work we’ve done together to create a vibrant downtown,” said Dalton, a native of Buena Vista and a graduate of both Parry McCluer High School and Liberty University. “While I am stepping away from this leadership role, I am thrilled to remain involved as a volunteer and continue contributing to MSBV’s mission.”

During her tenure with MSBV, in which her main role was to promote downtown Buena Vista, she was involved in the Town Square project, the Mountain Day celebrations and the “Three Old Grouches” contest.

Dalton added that she is “excited” to begin a new chapter in her career. In this role with CPH+H, she will be focusing on “fostering connections and supporting the impactful work” of this organization. “I am passionate about the work [CPH+H] does for our community, and I look forward to continuing to make a difference in this new capacity. My heart remains committed to strengthening our community, whether through MSBV’s efforts or the vital services provided by CPH+H.”
