The application period for Buena Vista’s 2025 façade improvement grant program is now officially open. This program offers financial assistance to property owners and tenants within the designated program area to help them enhance the appearance of their properties.
The FIGP provides reimbursement grants of up to 50 percent of eligible project costs, with a maximum award of $5,000 per property. Eligible improvements include a wide range of exterior enhancements, such as exterior painting, architectural restoration, lighting upgrades and masonry repairs. The goal is to support property owners and businesses in beautifying key gateway areas and business districts, which in turn contributes to a more vibrant and attractive community.
Applications will be accepted through Feb. 7. Property owners and tenants interested in applying are encouraged to submit their completed applications by the deadline. Detailed instructions, eligibility criteria and guidelines for the program can be found in the FIGP Program Guide.
