After a week of snow days, children finally headed back to school on Monday! The roads and sidewalks were still a little icy on Sunday morning, so New Monmouth Presbyterian Church shifted its Sunday service to 2 p.m. Thanks to everyone for being flexible and for spreading the word. It was great to be able to gather together for worship in the afternoon. Thanks to Calvin Clark for playing the piano for the hymns, and drums for the praise song.
Casey and Rachel Clark will be beginning Bible study again this week, but there is a new day, time and location. We will meet at New Monmouth on Wednesdays at 5:15 p.m. Any and all are welcome to join.
A sewing class is beginning at New Monmouth, thanks to Hope Bird who is leading and organizing this endeavor. This class is for all ages and skill levels. The dates for the class are Jan. 16 and 30 and Feb. 13 and 27. Class will be held at 2:30 for adults and homeschooled students, 3:30 for adults and children who go to school. Contact Hope for more information!
Pastor Rachel Clark returned on Saturday from a week of study leave in Michigan where she met with her Doctor of Ministry Cohort at Western Theological Seminary. It was a wonderful week filled with Scripture, prayer and encouragement.
