Rockbridge County employees who have reached milestone years of employment were recognized Monday, Jan. 13, by the Board of Supervisors. They are (in front, from left) Janet Mayo, recycling, five years; Mercedes “Merci” Smith, preschool, five years; ThomasAndrews, fire and rescue, five years; Brandy Flint, economic development, 15 years; Rhonda Miller, building office, 20 years; Edwina “Dwinnie” Shafer, preschool, 35 years; and Julie Whitesell, finance, 45 years.
