W&L Student Speaks At Sunrise Rotary Club
Last November, Lexington Sunrise Rotary Club invited Washington and Lee University sophomore Dominic Vogelbacher from Georgia to speak at its bi-monthly meeting, which is held the first and third Thursdays of each month at Grace Episcopal Church at 7 a.m.
Dominic is an associate editor of the W&L Spectator magazine and explores diverse perspectives while writing for the magazine.
He talked about his exclusive interview with Sen. Joe Manchin and some of his peers at the 2024 West Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Summit, writing the story with his Spectator colleague Nathan Gilbert.
Dominic has also been to Egypt where he met dignitaries and is abreast of international issues. At the conclusion of his speech to the club, he said, “I write with my faith in mind, and to seek the truth.”
Dominic studies economics and politics and he also sings with University Chamber Singers.
