Glasgow

Coldest January on record … that’s what I heard on TV last week. I didn’t have to hear that to know it. I feel as though I’ve been hibernating like an old bear, yet its been a relaxing time to unwind, no major projects or deadlines to meet. I’ve had time to work puzzles and paint. It’s been kinda nice. Now it’s time to get back in the swing and make plans for the coming year. The Farmers Market spring vendor event is scheduled for Saturday, May 3. Mark your calendars and plan to take part.

The Community Development Committee braved the cold and met at Town Hall to discuss plans for Rockin’ the Gorge music events and trunk-or-treat later in October. This committee is also looking for other Glasgow citizens who are willing to join them and help with these events. Their next meeting is May 11 at 6 p.m. at Town Hall, prior to the regular town council meeting.
